Weathington McGrew Attorneys Defend Trial Victory At Supreme Court

  • Jan 9 2017

On Monday January 9, 2017, Weathington McGrew attorneys Paul Weathington and David Hanson argued in front of the Georgia Supreme Court to preserve a favorable jury verdict obtained by the firm three years earlier. Mr. Weathington described the issue before the Court as whether “the decision of the plaintiff to deliberately and intentionally withhold [a key witness name] until the moment of ambush at trial—as in the old Perry Mason movies” was prohibited by Georgia law. The Court is expected to deliver its opinion in the next several months. Video of the oral argument can be found at the following link: Video: S16G1214 Resurgens, PC et al. v. Elliott
