On July 16, 2018, Paul Weathington and Gabe Banks received a defense verdict in the Fulton County State Court for their two OBGYN clients. The plaintiff alleged that both doctors acted negligently during labor and delivery that spanned two twelve-hour shifts, and furthermore they failed to deliver the baby timely, which caused the baby’s death. Jurors disagreed; after an eight-day trial, two days of deliberation, and an Allen charge from the Judge, a defense verdict was reached.
