Gabriella Klaes presented at the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) Preparedness Summit attended by 1,800 who work in all levels of government (local, state, and federal), emergency management, volunteer organizations, and healthcare coalitions.
The title of the presentation was “Public Health, Schools, and Leveraging the Law: Practical and Legal Considerations for Health Departments to Engage with Schools for Emergency Preparedness”. Her presentation covered a guidance she published while at the CDC.
